We ship to the 48 contiguous states, so as long as you live in one of them, we offer you free shipping and we cover all of the taxes for you (including those in California). That's right, you don't pay for shipping OR taxes. That way, you can feel at ease knowing that the price you see advertised is what you'll pay at checkout. Here's what happens once you buy from us:
Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, we will send you an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order and we have pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we contact our supplier to confirm that the product is in stock and available to ship right way. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and contact you via email.
Order Shipment:
If your order is in stock and available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges to your credit card and your order will ship within 5 business days from the date of your order. Once your order leaves the warehouse, we will send the tracking information to the email address you provided us when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at Support@EllaModern.com.
Damages:
We do our best to make sure your shipment arrives in the same condition as it left the warehouse. Any damage to your item(s) upon arrival is the responsibility of the shipping carrier and not ours. Before signing the proof of delivery waiver, please carefully inspect your item(s). If you notice any damages, take photos and make a note of it when signing for the delivery. Please send the photos to Support@EllaModern.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
If for some reason you decide to cancel your order, you have 48 hours from the time of purchase to cancel. Orders cancelled after that time are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for the return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order.
Foreign Transaction Fees
Depending on their credit card provider, some customers may be charged a foreign transaction fee after their purchase. A foreign transaction fee is a fee charged by the bank on transactions happening between countries. Foreign transaction fees tend to range from 1 percent to 3 percent.
That's right, you read that correctly. We guarantee to have the lowest price. Since we don’t have any retail locations, expensive sales people, or unnecessary equipment, you can rest assured that you won’t find a better price anywhere else.
If you do somehow happen to find a lower price advertised on another online store, please let us know and we will refund you the difference from your original payment.
We want you to feel confident that you are getting the absolute best price for the product you are ordering. If you find that our own website has a lower price for the same item you have ordered, we will refund the difference as well.
To request your partial refund simply e-mail us a link to the same product on our website, or on our competitor's website within six months from the date of your order and we will process the credit immediately.
